Fradar Terms of Use
Last updated: 14 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Fradar mobile apps and guest website. By creating or joining a radar, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
What Fradar Does
Fradar provides temporary location and proximity estimates so invited people can find one another. Measurements can be delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or affected by buildings, crowds, hardware, connectivity, permissions, and battery settings.
Not an Emergency or Safety Service
Do not rely on Fradar for emergencies, rescue, navigation, medical decisions, child supervision, or situations where inaccurate location could cause harm. Contact local emergency services when safety is at risk.
Your Responsibilities
Share invite links only with people you trust. Do not use Fradar to stalk, harass, deceive, track someone without consent, bypass venue rules, interfere with the service, or violate law. You are responsible for the display name and meeting information you submit and for securing your device and linked store account.
Temporary Radars and Accounts
Radars expire automatically and may end earlier if revoked, if membership is removed, or if technical or abuse controls require it. Anonymous access is designed for speed but may be unrecoverable after reinstall or device loss unless you link a supported identity. You may delete your account from supported app versions or follow the account deletion instructions.
In-App Purchases
When payments are available, Fradar may offer three consumable packs through Apple or Google. They contain exactly 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 non-expiring credits. The current storefront price, currency, taxes, and other purchase terms are shown by the store before confirmation.
- Credits are attached to the signed-in Fradar account only after server-side store verification. Purchased package credits do not expire while that account remains active unless a refund, chargeback, fraud decision, or other valid store action invalidates them.
- Credits are spent when the creator makes a temporary radar or increases its participant capacity. Creation cost is 18 credits multiplied by the selected total participants, including the creator, and the selected duration in hours. Available durations are 1, 3, 5, and 7 hours; capacity is 2–15 total concurrent participants.
- A capacity increase costs 18 credits multiplied by the radar's original duration and the number of added places. Capacity cannot be reduced for a credit return.
- Fradar does not return credits merely because time or places are unused, a participant leaves, or the creator closes a radar early. This application-level no-return rule does not limit refunds administered by Apple or Google or any mandatory rights under applicable law.
- The separate free tier allows two total participants for one hour, up to two successful creations per UTC ISO week, subject to server-side limits.
- Historical event-credit and annual products are not offered in the new checkout. They remain supported only for restore, refund, and other rights already acquired. If a legacy subscription still exists, it is managed through the applicable Apple or Google account.
- Deleting a Fradar account permanently removes unused in-app credit balance from product use. It does not cancel a legacy store subscription, waive a valid store refund, or limit mandatory legal rights. Eligible legacy recovery remains bound to the same verified Apple or Google identity.
- Billing, cancellation, store refunds, and payment methods are administered by Apple or Google under their store terms.
- Promotional or referral credits may have separately disclosed limits or expiry and are not cash.
Availability and Changes
We may improve, suspend, or discontinue features; change limits for security, reliability, legal, or economic reasons; and take action against abuse. Material changes to paid benefits will respect applicable law and store rules.
Disclaimer and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fradar is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee continuous availability or exact location. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
